At the florida project, we were lucky enough to get our hands on an exclusive piece made by Casey Jones exclusively for the Event. It is a one of a kind hand drawn pirate done in black marker. Even though there is not a ton of detail to the figure, you can tell it belongs with the Pirates of the Caribbean set. I love how Caey put the little stars on the ears. Looking foward to some of the stuff he is coming up with at the ROOM-FOR-ONE-MORE event taking place this Friday!

We are only a couple of days away from the Room for one More Event happening at the Contemporary Resort in honor of the 40th Anniversary of the Haunted Mansion attraction. Yesterday, Disney relesed another photo from a piece that is gonna be up for silent auction. It is a 9-inch figure that was designed by Javier Soto. The bidding starts at $999--get it?

Disney has also announced that the EPCOT food and wine festival exclusive will be out at Epcot on Friday, Ocotber 14th. It will retail for $14.95

Disney has officially announced that the long awaited park 7 sreies will be out in the parks on Friday October 14th. We have a final shot of all 11 figures, except for the chaser of course. If you get a chance, go to the Dusney vinylmation blog. If you click on the chaser, you get a surprise! pretty cool! Not that crazy about the combo topper, but will definitely be waiting in line for the complete set.

For some surprise news. Disney announced the second Villians mystery box series yesterday. What I am loving about this set is that they were not afraid to go with some lesser known villains in favor of giving the fans some lovable (or hateable) characters! I have to say, I am the most impressed by Bolar Hat Guy!!! He is probably one of my favorite and under used villains. The Lady Tremane looks great and I am very excited about Yzma. They'll be invading Disney Stores on Ocotober 24th, just in time for Halloween.

The official Disney blog showed some new photos of the upcoming open-edition window box Star Wars character figures coming out next May. They are going to make a great addition to all of the amazing Star Wars Weekend mechandise that will be available.

Disney recently announced that there will be another exclusive coming to Hawaii. This time its coming to the Disney store at the ALA MOANA shopping center in Oahu. It was desinged by Disney Store design artist Enrique Pita. Its gonna be released on Ocotber 4th.

After all the speculation of what project Z was going to be...we got Park Starz. I am going to be honest, my initial reaction was not good. I thought they were just another version of the POP VINYL series. but after seeing all of figures so far, I am quickly becoming a fan. I love the fact that each figure is based on a famous park attraction. Also, I am a fan of keeping the Vinylmation format with having 12 in a series and a mystery chaser. You may have to pay a little more ($18.95), but they are a little bigger and definitely look like they are worth the exgtra couple of dollars. There will be 12 in the first set 11 plus the 1 mystery chaser, and they will be out mid to late October.

I love the onslaught of new vinyl Merchandise coming to the diffrent cruise ships. Pin trading is very popular onboard the ships. I am hoping with all of this new merchandise, there will start to be more Vinyl trading on board.

Lets get dangerous!!! Tomorrow marks the arrival of the long awaited Darkwing Duck 2-pack from the Disney Afternoon series. They will be available at both D-STREET locations, Orlando and Anaheim. The lines will be massive for both. I have noticed that the lines for the D-STREET in Anaheim seem to start much earlier. Also, I like the procedure for purchasing limited items there a little better. They hand out wristbands at around 6am and let everyone come back around the time of the store opening. The earlier 8am opening is also a plus! So, I wonder if this is going to be the last peice of this set...What does everyone else think?

IT WAS BONKERS AT D-STREET THIS MORNING!!!!

So, if you were up bright and early this morning, you had a chance to get your hands on that bobcat! We got there around 8AM and there were already a handful of guests waiting on the line. They had 500 pieces available. As always, waiting on a line for any type of Disney product release at WDW is a smooth experience. As a pleasent surprise, there is a new paper bag at D-STREET with the logo on it. There were large and small versions. Only 2 more weeks until Darkwing Duck is available!!!!

It's official, the long awaited Darkwing Duck 2-pack will be availble at D-STREET starting on September 16th. They will be limited to 1,000 pieces and limited to 2 per guest. I am loving the fact that real fans are able to get these amazing sets again. As always remember to get there pretty early. As a reminder, the Bonkers 2-pack will be at D-STREET starting tomorrow at 10AM. As always, happy collecting.

PUERTO RICO FLAG COMING TO FLAG COLLECTION!

On September 16th, The Puerto Rico flag will be added to the colection of open edition window box country vinylmations. They will be available everywhere. They will probably start out at D-STREET and the Disney website.

DCL EXCLUSIVES OUT ON SEPTEMBER 4TH!!!

Well, you better start packing! Looks like the Disney Cruise Line exclusive vinyls are making their way aboard the Disney Magic, Wonder, and Dream starting on September 4th. The figures will be window box open editions and cost $12.95 each. Disney hasn't said, but I am assuming the the "Aquaduck Donald" will only be available on the dream. Also, there is no word on the figures desgined to look like the bow of the ships. We'll be on the Wonder in October, so we'll be able to get these first hand!!! As always, happy collecting.

PROJECT Z UPDATE

Its official, according to the Disney Blog, everything about the mysterious Project Z will revealed at the vinylmation event happening at the Florida Project. I'm gonna be honest with you, I am hoping for a new size of figure. Maybe something inbetween, like a five inch mold. I dont think that is going to happen though. Everything I have been hearing is pointing in the direction of a new type of mold or new series. It would make no sense to have vinylmation figures not shaped like Mickey. Disney already has a line of figures out like that called "POP VINYLS". Also, it looks like a new line in the shape of Duffy the Bear will be arriving early next year. Who know, should be very interesting to say the least.
